Story Behind My Topic



A father was on his way home, when his life flashed before his eyes. As he lay on the ground bleeding, all he could think about was his daughter. His last words were "Take care of my daughter." Before the ambulance could get there he was gone. Drinking and driving really hits home for me because my dad died in a car accident, where a drunk driver hit him and ran. Drinking and driving affects the families of the victims that die and the victims that use it. 
A seventeen year old girl was riding with her friend one night, when she realized that this could be the worst decision ever. The next thing she knew was that she was flipped over in a ditch and the car was smoking, she got out. Her injury could have been worse but she ended up with a broken collar bone. This happened because her friend was texting and driving. Texting and driving is just as dangerous as drinking while driving.
Drinking and driving and texting and driving have major consequences and these actions will follow you for the rest of your life.

    Alisha this really is a great blog so far. like brianna said i know this hits home, and that makes your blog even better. With every thing you post i could tell you were serious about the danger of each thinga nd that you want to find a stop to it. to make this topic better you can add in more descriptive words like you did in this post. i cant wait to see your final blog

    Awww ... Alisha i love your blog jus not because of the topic but because you can really connect to it; with what you went thru with your father. It has alot of emotion in it already. Good job, keep it up.
